FST BONDING ACTIVITY 2021
AUGUST 25 & 26, 2021
To welcome and introduce the Freshies, Shiftees, and Transferees to the UP School of Statistics, UP Stat SC holds the Stat Welcome Bonding in cooperation with the UP School of Statistics Faculty and Administration. Also, the students are welcomed by numbers and presentations of selected students of the School. Students are also introduced to UP Stat SC and the two Stat-based organizations.
CORRELATE RECRUITMENT WEEK
SEPTEMBER 26 - OCTOBER 2, 2021
Recruitment Week is a week-long event where the Council and the School-based organizations set up booths in the UP School of Statistics Lobby. This is where you may sign up for organizations, sports groups and volunteer work. In line with the current remote set up, an online exhibit was also displayed for students to visit.

OCTOBER 16, 2020
The Correlate Days is a series of workshops spread throughout the year to teach volunteers the basic skills of their committees and develop their potential for leadership and service.
OCTOBER 26, 2020
The UP School of Statistics Town Hall was held in order to align the expectations and demands from the administration, the faculty, and the students. It also served as an avenue for the Council to Present their initiatives alongside other concerns gathered from the community in order to meet eye to eye with the administration.
DECEMBER 11, 2020
The UP School of Statistics Student Dialogue served as a platform for the students to amplify their concerns with regards to the current remote setup. It was also an avenue for the students to directly inquire and discourse with the administration on the plans moving forward into the second semester of remote learning.

An educational discussion on the relevance of statistics in pandemic response and policy-making

Tribute Day is UP Stat SC's annual tradition of giving special recognition to the faculty, administration, and staff in the UPSS Community. This year, the council took the initiative online in reaching out to the different people in the community while offering messages from the students.
OCTOBER 21, 2020
In response to the recent typhoons and the ongoing pandemic, the UP Stat SC launched a donation drive in order to provide aid to students who needed help in coping to the remote learning setup. This included financial and material help, lending a helping hand to students who were situated in different parts of the country. Help was also extended to the faculty and staff of the community.
STATcomMISSIONS
OCTOBER 21, 2020
The pandemic took a lot from many people especially in terms of income and the UP Stat SC recognized that many people were using different means to make up for it. Hence, the council opened STATcomMISSIONS for artists who were trying to earn in the community. It was opened to the general community in order to aid artists in publicizing their work.
ENTERTAINMENT NIGHTS
OCTOBER 22, 2020
The woes and stresses of online learning started to come about as we went deeper in the semester. What better way to battle these than some entertainment nights that also serve as bonding events for the community? Entertainment Nights "Humaymay" hosted a shared screening of "I'm Drunk I Love You" and "Hereditary" on the UPSS Discord Server where the community was able to destress while watching these films.
